Jarvis personal assistant

What Jarvis does

Jarvis is a privately hosted voice and text assistant for its owner's personal use. Its Google Calendar integration answers agenda questions from the user's explicitly selected primary calendar. Calendar access is linked to the selected Jarvis profile.

The private assistant also supports explicitly requested personal reminders, saved preferences, authorized bedroom-light controls, grounded information lookup and scoped coding assistance. These features are separate from Google Calendar access. This public website explains Jarvis; it is not a sign-in portal or a way to access the private assistant.

Why Jarvis needs Google Calendar data

With the user's permission, Jarvis reads upcoming events to answer questions such as "What do I have tomorrow?", "What is my next appointment?" and "Where is that?" It uses the event title, start and end times, location and event identity to give an agenda and resolve follow-up questions about the same event. It does not need access to Gmail, contacts or files for this integration.

Current access and planned event creation

The current integration reads calendar events. Event creation is being prepared and is not yet available. When enabled, it will require the user to review the exact proposed event and explicitly confirm it before a creation request is sent to Google. This increment does not support invitations, recurring-event creation, editing or deleting existing events.

Connecting Google is optional. The current permission is read-only access to events on calendars the user owns; Jarvis additionally limits agenda queries to the explicitly selected primary calendar. No event-writing permission has been granted. Calendar information stays within the private calendar-answering workflow and is not provided to web search or coding workers.
